Please kindly tell us about yourself?

My name is Peter Felix. The founder of Peter Felix Foundation.
I am a young man passionate about my generation and stand as an advocate to those living in slums. I am a leadership coach and a master life coach.
Tell us about your Non-profit Organization?

The non-profit organization: Peter Felix Foundation was birthed out of the desire to give hope to those who lives in slums and are deprived of education and access to health.

When and what brought about your Non-profit?

The organization kicked off in 2018 January when she had her first project in Makoko. As I said earlier, it was birthed out if the desire to give hope to slum dwellers. When I was young,I was deprived of education  for a while and I knew how it felt when one's parents can't afford an education and good healthcare.

What were the main challenges you faced early on and how did you overcome them ?

The major challenge faced was getting funds and volunteers to work with in doing projects. I did a lot of talking to people and also used my skill as a graphics designer to create attractive designs to get peoples attention and make them buy into the project.

What was the biggest challenge you ever faced since you started?

As I said earlier, getting funds to carry out projects.

What do you consider success in your Non-profit?

Success for me here is seeing the smile of satisfaction on the faces of the beneficiaries after each project.

At what point did you begin to achieve success and how did it happen?

Success started the moment funds begin to come in for each project and till the project is carried out.

What would you consider your greatest achievement ever since you started ?

My greatest achievement is seeing children who couldn't attend school go to school because they benefited from the goodwill of people.

Who has inspired you the most as a Non-profit founder?

Inspiration? The major inspiration I get here is the smile of satisfaction and joy I get from beneficiaries, it makes me want to do more.

If you could go back in time, what are the changes you would have made for your Project/Non-profit?

Go back in time? Well, none for now, as there is always an opportunity to do better in future projects.

What else should we see you doing in the Future?

Impacting more lives, giving hopes to many. Also training leaders.

Aside your Non-Profit, what are your other interests?

Leadership, volunteering, graphics design and websites development.

What's the most important lesson you have learnt from your Non-profit ?
We are the driver of our destiny..
