The Gold in You Sensitization Workshop is impacting students across Nigeria

In every society, there are things that distinguishes one from another. There are things that sets one on the part of inspiration and there are things that causes one to make a difference. These things differs from one to another .

It is not really about the things but their talents. There are to trade with these things. A discovery, development and deployment of that talents not just make an impact but gives positive societal change.

This was the inspiration that lead to GOLD IN YOU SENSITIZATION WORKSHOP across secondary schools in Nigeria. With a slogan of the "The Gold In You: The talent in you" to solve the injustice of motivation amongst youngsters in the use of their talents. From September 19th, - September 27th, 2019. The coordinator, Precious Azuonwu shares exclusive ways about his passion to help youngsters in this endeavour

The Gold In You Sensitization reached out to schools in the inner-city.

On September 19th, 2019, IVEROK international Secondary school was reached out to. Youngsters were indeed impacted and the gold in you team got an appraisal letter.

September 27th was the end of the tour as the team reached out to Community Secondary School, Nkpolu, a government school with over 2000 students population.

A lot of things were discussed in this program and one of the most striking things centered around four questions...

As the students pondered on salient questions in discovering, developing and deploying their talents. 'What comes easier to me and harder to others ', 'What are my passionate about that is good for God and people? 'If I think about making someone's life better, 'what would I do?' and lastly 'what can I easily do for others'.

Precious Azuonwu forward shared his story of how he discovered his talents after the demise of his father at age 11.

There is so much need for change in our world and if we all do our part, the world would indeed be a better place.

Precious Azuonwu is the coordinator of the Gold In You Sensitization and a recipient of the Peace First Mini Grant. He is a social entrepreneur and Head strategist of Emperovial Business Enterprise.
