SkillFiesta, is an event organized by Miracle Ewim, founder of Love Showers with the aim of teaching 100 youths digital skills for free. Chenemi Zekeri an attendee described the event 60% of children under-12 will grow up to work in jobs that don’t exist yet, and it is predicted that the future problem of jobs will not be a lack of jobs, but a lack of skill to fill the jobs. With every new advent in technology, the skill gap is growing decidedly wider, contributing to the already sky-high rate of unemployment.
